Genetron® PerformaxTM LT improves upon and replaces R-404A in new and existing installations. It increases the system’s energy efficiency, allowing you to reduce energy consumption and lessen your overall impact on the environment.

For the last six months, a new product on the refrigeration market has offered reductions in your energy bills and can reduce your carbon footprint at the same time. A product from the R&D department of Honeywell, this product is a combination of HFCs, intended for low and medium temperature commercial refrigeration applications.

Genetron® PerformaxTM LT is the best performing, lowest global warming potential refrigerant for new supermarket installations with improved energy efficiency versus other HFCs. With a higher capacity and efficiency than R404A, it is a better alternative at low and medium temperatures for supermarket applications.

The conversion of existing R-404A supermarket systems to Genetron® PerformaxTM LT will result in a significant reduction in their carbon footprint and power consumption. In addition, direct CO2 emissions can be reduced by more than 50%.

This product, distributed by Climalife, supplier of innovative and sustainable solutions for thermal systems, also has interesting characteristics which make it a replacement for R-22.

Genetron® PerformaxTM LT is a class A1 refrigerant, meaning that it has low toxicity and is non flammable. It is available in small volume packages right up to a shipping container.

 

Performax LT is therefore the best environmental combination available today:
– it gives improved capacity over R-404A.
– it improves the energy performance in installations.
– its environmental impact is less, due to a GWP of 1824 versus R-404A at 3922
– it is not necessary to change installation components when switching over to it, other than some regulation devices.
