The NOVEXPANSTM isobutane is a specially deodorized gas with guaranteed specifications, used as an expansion agent in plastic foams (polyethylene, polystyrene and PVC).
It may be blended with other hydrocarbons (propane, n-butane) for polystyrene foams expansion.
With no effect on the ozone layer, it is recommended as a substitute for the HCFCs.
