Pyrostop 6 (SF6) IEC 60376 is a dielectric, inert, non toxic and non flammable gas. It is intended for use as an arc breaker or as a covering agent to prevent the ignition of magnesium. It is used in the following sectors: high-voltage circuit breakers, shielded high-voltage substations, particle accelerators, metallurgy (magnesium blanket).
Pyrostop 6 IEC 60376 is a stable and inert gas. It has no aggressive impact on materials with which it is brought into contact.
It complies with the IEC 60376 standard.
Its high greenhouse warming potential, means it is necessary to reduce its emissions into the atmosphere. Climalife offers equipment for transferring this gas, as well as for recycling it (please consult advice for use).
