r-123YF: the new car air conditioning refrigerant

We are now over 6 months into the new legislation. It is being driven by the European MAC (Mobile Air Conditioning) Directive ruling that all new vehicles sold in Europe have to use a refrigerant with a GWP below 150 from 1 January 2017. New cars can no longer use R-134a in their air conditioning systems, manufacturers have now switched to R-1234yf which has a much lower GWP.
