The European Regulation N° 1005/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16th September 2009 on substances that deplete the ozone layer, was published in the Official Journal on 31/10/2009.

The new Regulation N° 1005/2009 replaces the European Regulation 2037/2000 and entered into force on 1st January 2010.
